Leptomyrina gorgias




From our location, almost certainly the Common Black-eye. The allysum growing in our garden was often a source of nectar for butterflies. An additional attraction for this butterfly were the food plants we also had in the garden: Cotyledon orbiculata, Crassula multicava, as well as a Kalanchoe. In the next post I have put a picture of a butterfly perched on the latter.
