Monitor screens

I haven't posted for the last few days. The reason: I have acquired a new flat screen monitor and am trying to adapt to it. Compared with my good old CRT, I thought that on the standard settings of the new monitor the colours were garish, and the pixels unforgiving. I am having to rethink my image processing.
